NATIONAL HAPPINESS HAPPENS MONTH: AUGUST 1 – 31

Origin: Happiness Happens is an organization started by the Secret Society of Happy People founded by Pamela Gail Johnson in August 1998.

Happiness Happens Month is celebrated in August every year. It encourages people to celebrate the things that make them happy. Happiness is contagious, so sharing your happiness can put a smile on someone’s face or brighten their day. This monthly observance reminds us to find happiness in the little things we might overlook throughout our day. Spreading joy to others not only makes them feel good, but you’ll feel good, too.
