Some are designed specifically for kids while others are geared towards adult coloring enthusiasts. National Coloring Book Day celebrates the joy we get out of coloring and encourages everyone to try something new.

National Simplification Your Life Week is about simplifying your life. It encourages people to get rid of anything that causes stress and unnecessary chaos. This includes physical clutter like piles of papers and clothes, and mental clutter like negative thoughts and unhealthy work environments. National Simplification Your Life Week focuses on removing both physical and mental clutter.
WAYS TO OBSERVE NATIONAL SIMPLIFY YOUR LIFE WEEK
- Do the things you love to do.
- Clean up and clean out your physical environment.
- Unclutter your mind – brain dump or mind map.
- Disconnect from tech daily for at least 1 hour.

NATIONAL HAPPINESS HAPPENS MONTH: AUGUST 1 – 31
Origin: Happiness Happens is an organization started by the Secret Society of Happy People founded by Pamela Gail Johnson in August 1998.
Happiness Happens Month is celebrated in August every year. It encourages people to celebrate the things that make them happy. Happiness is contagious, so sharing your happiness can put a smile on someone’s face or brighten their day. This monthly observance reminds us to find happiness in the little things we might overlook throughout our day. Spreading joy to others not only makes them feel good, but you’ll feel good, too.
